The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport is the Navy’s full spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support center for submarine warfare and many other systems associated with undersea battlespace. Division Newport provides the technical foundation that enables the conceptualization, research, development, fielding, modernization, and maintenance of systems that ensure our Navy’s undersea superiority.
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport is accepting resumes for the following:
Candidates with a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or doctorate in mechanical engineering,
electrical engineering, computer engineering, ocean engineering, marine engineering, robotics
engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be registered for Selective Service
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period
- Must obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Engineering degree must be from an ABET-accredited institution
- Computer science, mathematics, or physics degree must be from an accredited or pre-accredited institution
